The application process for admission in government and private schools across the country has been completed. This year around 405 government secondary schools across the country have more than eighty thousand seats.
According to a survey conducted by the Department of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, 5 lakh 38 thousand 866 students have applied for admission in government schools this year.
In this, a little more than 14 applications have been submitted for admission in each seat. The application process for admission to government schools in the ninth grade from the beginning of 2024 started on November 25 and ended before midnight on Sunday.
Students who wish to be admitted within the stipulated time have completed the application online. The Department of Secondary and Higher Education has stated that the results of the examination will be released on 15 December 2024.

According to the Department of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, the admission lottery for private schools will be held on December 15 at the International Mother Language Institute in the capital.
